Jimin is popularly known as the 'Dance king,' among many other titles accorded to him by media entities for his exceptional skills and talent in dance. He constantly receives praises from dance professionals for his unique and distinctive style of dance that they term 'impossible to copy.' It is his own signature style that has stemmed from him incorporating elements from each of the different dance genres that he has trained in and mastered into his dance moves and thereby standing out. Rookie idols idolize him and aspire to be just like him in terms of performing, as he is considered to be the industry standard, and they constantly cover his solo performances as a way to prove their capabilities as dancers in the industry. Fans always select him as the best dancer in K-pop as seen from the numerous dance polls that he has won year after year, like the Dabeme Best Male Dancer for four consecutive years, the King Choice Best Male K-pop Idol Dancer for three straight years, and Netlab's Best Male Idol Dancer in K-pop for two consecutive years among many other polls. This is why it is impossible to talk about dance without mentioning Jimin.

Whenever the media is reporting on BTS' performances, the video footage will always be focused on Jimin, and for the print media, Jimin's name will always be mentioned specifically. He tends to become the highlight of every BTS performance, and in fact, he has also earned the title of "the master of killing parts" for this reason. As such, he is referenced without fail whenever there is anything related to dance, as evidenced from the different instances seen in the past few days.

On July 9, Hankook Ilbo, a Korean media outlet, mentioned Jimin and his appearance on stage. While describing a painting that Jimin had chosen for his Singapore hotel gallery, the article likens the dance in the painting to that of Jimin on the stage, who breaks the mold with fine lines even when performing as a group. In a different case, TMI News on Mnet aired a segment on "Hot Summer Songs" where 'Fire' by BTS made it onto the list at #8. What fans noted was that when playing the song, Jimin's part that popularly became known as the '333 killing part' is the part of the song that was featured, yet again proving him to be the highlight of the group performances. 

This is not the first time that 'Fire' and particularly Jimin's dance has been highlighted. Back in 2019, BTS was officially added to South Korea's national anthem video, and again Jimin's legendary '333 killing part' was incorporated into the video as recorded from the group's WINGS concert tour.

Of note is that BTS' release of 'WINGS' album was the point when the group started gaining worldwide recognition, and therefore Jimin played an instrumental role in this big step for the group with his performance in 'Fire' and the title track 'Blood Sweat and Tears' where his opening of the song also became a hot topic earning him the name 'master of opening.'

Recently, The K-pop Herald, another South Korean media outlet, posted a video highlighting Jimin's talents and accomplishments. The video specifically mentions his 'enchanting dance' and 'unforgettable vocals,' saying that 'his smooth and graceful dancing is now on an elite level' and that 'his distinctive voice plays an essential role in the group's songs.' The video further states that the best of this natural talent is yet to come, showing his evolving nature of always striving to be better even when he is already the best of the best.

Another instance of Jimin's influence and impact in matters of dance was seen on July 6th when his part in 'I Need You,' which is also known as the killing part of the song, was featured as stage material during Mnet's dance survival show 'Street Man Fighter.' Jimin is always the one that all dancers look up to.

Other times when Jimin was recognized as the highlight of BTS songs other that 'Fire,' ' I Need You,' and 'Blood Sweat and Tears' includes 'Not Today' and 'Butter,' to name a few.

Younger idols are constantly naming Jimin as their role model in the industry and the one they aspire to be like on their journey in the industry. Taki, who is expected to debut in the upcoming group 'The Howling' and currently starring in '&AUDITION,' is the latest addition to this list. 

In his interview with 'S Cawaii', he says how impressed he was with Jimin's dance and that he saw his performance as one of the best in the world. He also says if he had not met BTS by watching the 'Blood Sweat and Tears performance' where Jimin absolutely blew him away with his sexy aura and dance, he would not be who he is today.

Lim Hyung Joo, an influential figure in the world of music, also recently revealed Jimin to be his favorite member of BTS, and while giving his reasons for this, he mentions Jimin's powerful dance as well as his charisma. He becomes yet another industry professional to have been captivated by Jimin's dance and praises him for his skill and talent.

With everyone from fans, idols, the media, and industry professionals all praising Jimin's dance and seeing him as the best of the best and the representative figure of dance, there is no denying that he owns the 'dance king' and 'dance god' titles.
