On July 10, the Korea Gayoje, or the Korea music festival, was hosted by Capital One City Parks Foundation Summer Stage and Korean Cultural Center New York, which is a branch of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Korea. K-pop artists Brave Girls, Golden Child, and AleXa were invited to perform at the event.
Korea Gayoje returned this summer to present K-pop artists at the annual event following its success in 2017 and 2018. This year, Brave Girls, Golden Child, and AleXa adorned the stage. The show featured K-Pop quartet Brave Girls, who, since their debut in 2011, had a viral breakout last year with their 2017 single “Rollin’” peaking at #1 on the Billboard K-pop 100; Golden Child, a ten-member boy band known for their bass-heavy EDM sound and complex choreography who debuted on Billboard’s “World Digital Song Sales Chart” as the third K-pop Boy Group to be named on the Chart, holding the title for the highest debut record; and AleXa, the child of a Korean adoptee from Oklahoma whose career jumpstarted by a win on the K-pop audition show Rising Legends followed by her multilingual debut “Bomb" that made Billboard's Top 10 “World Digital Song Sales Chart.”
Meanwhile, Brave Girls, Golden Child, and AleXa performed at Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage in Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield.

We were there - it was great! Everybody performed great but Alexa and her crew had the best choreography. Golden Child had a nice cheery set with positive energy. Brave Girls had the best overall crowd vibe and sound. I wish I could see a concert like this every week!
Next year I hope to see my MAMAMOO!!!
