Actor Lee Jung Jae has made history as the first Korean actor ever to be nominated for an 'Emmy Awards'.
Lee Jung Jae starred as the lead of the international Netflix hit 'Squid Game', which also made history as the first non-English show to be nominated for an Emmy, and it was this role that earned him a nomination for best 'Lead Actor in a Drama Series.'
The actor was nominated alongside Jason Bateman in 'Ozark', Brian Cox in 'Succession', Bob Odenkirk in 'Better Call Saul', Adam Scott in 'Severance', and Jeremy Scott in 'Succession'. Meanwhile, 'Squid Game' actress Jung Ho Yeon was nominated for best supporting actress, and Park Hae Soo and Oh Yeung Soo were nominated for best supporting actor.

It's an amazing achievement but also frustrating that by now they're acknowledging the greatness of some Korean movies, dramas, actors, and actresses.
