Numerous celebrities post Jimin on their social media as media outlets worldwide highlight his speech in news reports on #BTSatTheWhiteHouse
BTS recently paid a visit to the White House to discuss the prevalence of anti-Asian hate crimes in recent times and to foster Asian representation and inclusion. Being the artists with the biggest and most culturally, racially, and demographically diverse fandom globally and being of Asian descent themselves, there could not have been a better representative to speak on and raise awareness on this issue.
On visiting the White House, among many other activities, the group spoke a few words in the press briefing room, where Jimin was especially seen to get extra attention from the reporters. The moment he stepped up to the mic to deliver his speech, fans were quick to notice that the frequency of the camera shutters increased significantly.
