According to the court register on June 3rd, G-Dragon bought a 244㎡ (~2,624 square foot) penthouse in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at the end of March this year for 16.4 billion KRW.
It was reported that G-Dragon paid the entire 16.4 billion KRW in cash. It is known that six households, including G-Dragon, signed a transaction contract for the same amount.
According to the real transaction price disclosure system of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, the highest price ever for an apartment was 14.5 billion KRW (16th floor) of 273 square meters for the exclusive use of 'The Penthouse Cheongdam' in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on April 28th. 'The Penthouse Cheongdam' ranked first in public housing prices this year (407 square meters, 16.89 billion KRW).
The sale price of the 'Nine One Hannam' penthouse, in which the actual transaction was not disclosed in the public system, was found to be 1.9 billion KRW higher than this and took the title of the most expensive apartment in the country in 2022.
'Nine One Hannam' is the complex that ranked second in the published price this year after 'The Penthouse Cheongdam.' The price of the penthouse increased by 3.07 billion KRW (49%) compared to last year, the highest increase in price in the nation.
'Nine One Hannam' penthouses are 10 of the total 341 units on the top floor. It has its own parking lot and elevator. Of these, seven households have found a new owner, and three units are still owned by the developer.
