"[💡NOTICE] JANG GYU RI’s Participation in fromis_9's Group Activities
Hello.
This is PLEDIS Entertainment.
We have an announcement regarding JANG GYU RI of fromis_9 and her participation in fromis_9’s group activities.
JANG GYU RI was cast for the role of “Tae Cho Hee” in the SBS drama “Cheer Up,” which is currently in production and scheduled to air in the latter half of this year.
We have adjusted her work schedule to make fromis_9's group activities the top priority,
but due to some filming schedules that are difficult to change, JANG GYU RI may not be able to attend some of fromis_9's group activities.
We ask for our fans’ generous understanding in advance.
We sincerely appreciate your unrelenting love and support for fromis_9. Please also look forward to fromis_9’s 5th mini album “from our Memento Box” which will be released on June 27.
Thank you."
Meanwhile, the group will also be making a comeback on June 27 with 5th mini album, "from our Memento Box," stay tuned for more updates
While it may be a bit sad for fans who might not see her at an event or for Gyuri not getting to attend something and see fans, this is likely an exciting opportunity for her to continue building a resume as an actress. While Fromis_9 is getting more popular, for most idols a group only last about a decade at most and they need to find reliable work that can continue after their group either by learning a trade, finding something in entertainment, or attending college.
