Ken Rhee, a former captain of the Naval Special Warfare Team (UDT/SEAL), who participated in the war as a member of the Ukrainian foreign volunteer unit, returned to Korea to receive treatment for injuries and released several photos and videos he took in Ukraine.
On May 25, Ken Rhee posted a series of pictures and videos taken in Ukraine on Instagram. He posted an image of his comrades and local comrades while traveling in a vehicle and wrote in the caption, "Did you diligently slander me? I'm sorry I'm alive." This seems to be in response to the "death" rumors that had circulated about him a while back.
He then posted a picture of the food in a can and wrote, “Sure. I'll eat this imagining it's breakfast at the Polish hotel." This seems to be his response to the earlier rumors that Ken Rhee was filming a YouTube video in a hotel in Poland. At the time, Ke Rhee denied the claims and said that it was "fake news."
Ken Rhee also uploaded a video of the puppies he found while being on the battlefield and a video of him returning to the base with his fellow soldiers.
Ken Rhee recently revealed he had been injured and announced that he will be returning to Korea for treatment. He also revealed that he is hoping to receive permission from the Korean government to return to Ukraine after recovering.
Although Ken Rhee is hoping to return to Ukraine after receiving treatment in Korea, it seems unlikely he will be able to return to Ukraine. Currently, Ken Rhee has been accused of violating the passport law by entering Ukraine and breaking the travel ban. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has already launched an investigation against the YouTuber.
Violation of the passport law by visiting or staying in Ukraine without government permission, where the travel warning level 4 has been issued, can be punished by imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to 10 million KRW (~7,878 USD).
Javelin and Stinger are cute little dogs. May they grow well in a Ukraine free from Russian aggression.
