Singer/actress IU has made headlines for the second day in a row for her debut appearance at the renowned 'Cannes Film Festival'.
Earlier this week, IU attended the official screening of her film 'Broker' at 'Cannes' on May 27, standing in front of the press on the red carpet prior to the screening. The singer/actress was the center of attention for her beautiful tulle dress, paired with an elegant diamond necklace and diamond earrings.
In particular, it was soon revealed that IU had chosen to wear a 'Joséphine Aigrette' necklace by the House of Chaumet, priced at around $89,000 USD. The 18-carat white gold necklace featured 180 miniature diamonds along the paving, as well as a center stone at 1.50 to 1.70 carats. In addition, the paired earrings, also by the House of Chaumet, was found to be priced at approximately $16,000 USD.
On top of the price of IU's jewelry on the red carpet garnering significant media attention, industry insiders also noted that the singer/actress's decision to wear the House of Chaumet, a French luxury jeweler, also likely received positive responses from officials on site.
Meanwhile, 'Broker' starring IU, Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, and more is expected to premiere in theaters across South Korea on June 8.
