Jin is known to be a theater kid and an actor before becoming a famous member of BTS and a magnificent singer. Many people would like to know more about Jin studying at Konkuk University.

First of all, Jin was the first student from his year in the acting academy to enroll in the university as he was accepted on an early admission to both of the best acting universities in Korea - Konkuk and Sejong (both have a ten person quota). It means that he has surpassed over 2000 applicants in the acting exams. Jin selected Konkuk as his future alma mater.

The superstar was very diligent in attending the classes. Acting is one of the biggest passions of Jin, so he was very interested in all of the various classes his faculty had. If he had to miss a class because of attending a music show, Jin was writing a message to the professor with apologies.

Konkuk is a very prestigious university, and the graduates of it frequently become famous actors or celebrities. Of course, the professors there are also very well respected personalities.

One of Jin's professors complimented Jin about his skills. The teacher said that he is very good at acting, and that's why he believes that Jin is going to be a successful actor once he gets a chance. 

More than that, one of the professors of the class that Jin attended was no other than a famous film director Hong Sangsoo. He is an award-winning filmmaker who had his films being screened at the Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, and the Locarno Film Festival! He praised Jin and said he is an excellent actor.

A student from Konkuk said that Jin was attending the classes even better than the famous professor himself!
