The Korean media highlighted BTS V's unrivaled popularity in China by ranking the highest among BTS members in China's WeChat Index for three consecutive months.
The WeChat Index is a tool that measures overall popularity and the latest trends in China based on algorithms that assess the search trends of more than 1 billion users. It is also used as a major marketing platform by global luxury brands and general corporate marketing and advertising strategies.
Kim Taehyung, aka BTS V, has topped the WeChat Index for 3 months in a row: May, June, and July 2021, and has become the center of the conversation even though he does not have any activities or anniversaries.
During the same period, V also topped the search volume of China's largest portal site, Baidu. BTS V has yet again proved his unwavering popularity in China by ranking first in the Baidu Search Volume for 5 cumulative years.
In Weibo, China's largest SNS, Taehyung, has the largest number of followers and has also topped the big data-based commercial value index, AIMAN.
V's biggest fan club in China, Baidu Vbar, has proven to boast as the strongest fandom economy by sweeping the first and second place in the top 30 rankings of K-pop album purchases.
A Chinese portal site, SOHU, stated that 'BTS V, The Prince of the Continent, is the most popular K-pop idol in China.'
Taehyung has certainly captivated the whole continent with his stunning visuals, unrivaled stage performance, a lovely personality that is in contrast with his masculine and sexy deep voice.
THE REAL BR!!! by which the big brands are governed when choosing the main character, by which the artist Kim Taehyung aka V is chosen first, for which he is the 'advertising Blue Chip' 'The Face of Kpop'. Congratulations Kim Taehyung, King of kpop.🔥
