On June 23, Lovelyz's label Woollim Entertainment issued an official statement, confirming that member Seo Ji Soo has tested positive for COVID-19.

"Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment. 

On the morning of June 22, Lovelyz member Seo Ji Soo tested positive for COVID-19. 

Back on June 21, Seo Ji Soo was notified that an acquaintance in her vicinity has tested positive for COVID-19, and underwent testing shortly afterward. As of June 22, Seo Ji Soo's test results have returned positive.

As a result, Seo Ji Soo will be halting all of her entertainment activities and will be following all instructions provided by the disease prevention department. 

All of the Lovelyz members and their staff have been identified as having been exposed to a primary carrier, and are currently in self-quarantine after undergoing testing on June 22. 

Woollim Entertainment plans on putting the health and safety of our artists and staff as our utmost priority, and will take all measures necessary per the disease prevention department's guidance once additional test results are returned.

We ask for your understanding as we have inevitably caused public concern, and we promise to continue with our best efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
