Rolling Stone US and NME UK mention Jungkook as the highlight of BTS' Grammy-nominated hit "Dynamite"
STAR CONTRIBUTOR
American reputable media publication Rolling Stone recently published an article titled "The 50 Best Songs of 2020," and "Dynamite" made it into the list, ranking at #7.
Rolling Stone expresses their admiration for "Dynamite," calling it "the sound of BTS tapping into the spirit of Eighties disco." While saying every BTS members shine, Rolling Stone gave a special mention to Jungkook as the main star of the song.
"All seven of them show off, though Jungkook takes the spotlight when he yells, “Cup of milk, let’s rock and roll/King Kong, kick the drum/Roll on like a Rolling Stone!”
Another renowned western media publication, NME, also picked "Dynamite" as one of their favorites for the year in their article "The 50 best songs of 2020". The Grammy-nominated hit is ranked at #40 and is described as a "disco-pop belter which provides the perfect recipe for blasting away the blues."
The media highlights Jungkook's part as their "best bit," praising his beautiful vocals:
"The combo of the stomping beat and Jungkook’s caramel cries ushering in a crescendo that somehow ups the already skyscraping euphoria to even greater heights."
The Rolling Stone family seems to be huge fans of Jungkook's talent, as previously Rolling Stone India dubbed Jungkook as "legitimately one of the finest performers of this generation" in their article on BTS.They also added that Jungkook has a "finely tuned creative mind," which is an undeniable fact, if the sophisticated melodies of his self-produced songs like "Still With You" or the aesthetic of his self-directed MV "Life Goes On" are anything to go by.
Jk's intro in Dynamite was the highlight of the song.
I agree with what media is saying! Taste!!
