Actor Jung Woo Sung has been confirmed to join the SBS drama 'Delayed Justice' replacing actor Bae Sung Woo, who caused a stir over drunk driving.
According to the production team of 'Delayed Justice' on December 22, Jung Woo Sung will be joining the drama playing the role of Park Sam Soo. He will start filming this week, marking his first drama appearance in nearly eight years.
The production team explained they will edit Bae Sung Soo out of the drama as much as possible until the 16th episode, which has already been filmed, and Jung Woo Sung will join starting with the 17th episode.
Previously, actor Lee Jung Jae was under consideration for the role of Park Sam Soo but later confirmed he was not able to film because of the overlapping schedule of another drama he was already filming. Eventually, Jung Woo Sung decided on his appearance as he is the director of the agency of Bae Sung Woo.
As it is his first drama appearance in eight years, Jung Woo Sung expressed his determination to do his best while filming 'Delayed Justice.'
He and Lee Jung Jae are the head of the agency where Bae Sung Woo is contracted to, I believe. Both of them feels they are obligated to step in to cover Bae Sung Woo, just a matter of who.
