With only some few days remaining before BTS Park Jimin’s 26^th birthday, numerous meaningful projects have been organized and announced by the fans all around the world. Jimin will celebrate his special day on October 13.

The BTS Indonesian ARMY organized a fundraising project in commemoration of Jimin’s birthday. On September 25, one Asabell Audida (@asabelliaa) posted on a website: www.https://lindungihutan.com about a fundraising project entitled “1000 Trees for BTS Jimin

(Jimin’s Birthday Project).

The project aimed to raise funds and the amount collected shall be used for planting and maintaining mangroves in Bedono Village, Kabupaten Demak, Central Java. According to the organizers, more than 250 families were moved from “The Sinking Village” Bedono Village due to the rising sea water levels at Morosari hamlet in the village. The coastal area has been massively eroded due to clearance of the mangrove forests along the coast. Hence, its restoration would be of such great help.

The campaign lasted from September 25 to October 4. With the participation of Indonesian BTS fans (ARMY), an overwhelming total of 8,735 trees were collected. It is way above the project goal of 7,000 trees only. Indeed, the project is a success.

Moreover, the project has been allegedly inspired by Jimin’s continuous donations, good deeds and love for the environment. It has been previously reported that Jimin made his own generous donations for students who are in need. On August 2020, Jimin donated 100 million won to students of South Jeolla Province. While on February 9, 2020, he changed all the desks to benefit 1,200 students at Busan Arts High School. He also bequeathed 100 million won to the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education on April 2019.

Just recently while on Bae Chul Soo’s Music Camp, BTS members were praised because of their good deeds and donations. Jimin humbly responded as, “We should give back as much as we receive.” Jimin continues to influence his fans to follow such a good example of sharing and helping good causes.
