G-EGG, a global idol development project that aims to debut as a Japan-Korea joint boys group launched under the supervision of Yoonhak, the leader of South Korean dance vocal group SUPERNOVA who celebrated its 10th anniversary in Japan this September.
“G-EGG” is a global idol development project with the meaning of “Global Egg”. Yoonhak, who has been active in Japan and Korea for more than 13 years, will supervise the “G-EGG” trainees from Japan and Korea that are selected for this project. The process will be broadcast on TV as a real growth story of boys who will debut as a Japan-Korea joint global idol group in 2020. Trainees will go through various challenging missions, be voted by viewers, and evaluated by judges.
"G-EGG" participants are revealed to be ex-trainees from the Korean survival audition program "PRODUCE X 101" which has created the boy group X1 that gained interest not only in Korea but also in Japan. Other participants are Japanese actors, singers, professional dancers, and active idol. Trainees will work hard together and make their debut.
