"악개" (Akgae) is a term referred tomalicious individual fan who like only one member of the group and strongly dislike the others members to the extent they will bash or defame other members for the sake of praising their bias and only member that they care about.

Recently, a group of 'akgaes' were exposed for spreading defaming blogs in order to harassed a member of a famous group since August. The defaming blogs were reported to have contents such as hate speech, mocking, creating rumors and many more. The link to this defaming blogs were spotted being spread widely on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Naver, Daum, Pann and many more. However, spreading the defaming blogs are not the only things these 'akgaes' do on daily basis to harassed that particular member. They were also caught trying to create rumor and trying to trend several negative hashtags on Twitter since the beginning of October. It was later exposed that the harassment happened due to 'shipping' rivalry. 

In the past, 'shipping' used to be a harmless culture in every K-pop fandom. Everyone who participate in this culture are well aware that none of the couple they ship are in actual relationship but merely close with one another. It seems like some people take 'shipping' to another level where they think that the couple they ship are in actual relationship and that whoever coming in the way of the couple they ship to interact are consider as an obstacles. That explains why these 'shipper-akgaes' went this far to harassed that particular member. 

The act of defaming, bashing, creating rumors and social bully has become something common among every fandom and 'shipping' culture has made it worst from time to time. We are concern with how far can an idol handle this kind of harassment. Awareness has been spread but nothing seems to work until we've lost several precious life because of this issue. Fans are demanding the company of this famous group to take immediate action toward these group of akgaes endless harassment but until now the company did not respond to their emails nor release a statement to solve this issue. 

'Shipping' culture has become something that ruin a group reputation and this culture has to be stop now or else it will ruin the future of the group itself.
