After B.I’s (22) departure from iKON, his fans and lots of k-pop listeners have started to show support to him and iKON. They started a campaign: “Hanbin Shouldn’t Have To Leave iKON” on change.org and it has already reached more than 700K signature. Also they made hashtag #HANBINSTAYWITHUS #7OGETHERWITHiKON viral on Twitter worldwide trends and showed their support and feelings. Fans mostly say; “iKON isn’t iKON without B.I”. Many people claimed that “The industry and media are putting too much pressure on this young boy’s shoulder for his weakness. Idols are also human and can make mistakes. Hanbin was at really young age of making mistakes easily”Also they say “B.I doesn’t deserved to leave his group/members and music which he worked and dedicated his childhood and life for it.”

Beside those fan supports, some industry staff also showed support to B.I. One of SM Entertainment’s staff shared several post in his Instagram account to show his support to B.I and iKON.

Firstly, on 12 June Kim Oh Seong shared a B.I’s photo that he works in the studio. He caption this: “One story that I know can be difficult. In a word? For the one who can understand. The more difficult thing is who will do it. Listen to it. We understand what we want to say. Keep fighting! #KimHanBin”

After that, on 13 June the same staff shared another post which is screen shot of iKON's song “Goodbye Road” with tagging iKON and B.I. And he caption in Korean, “I believe the sun will rise after every storm.”

Then he also shared that fans should give courage to Hanbin. Post’s caption is "What comes easy doesn't continue to last long, what continues long isn't easy to achieve.

Also SM’s girl group Red Velvet’s manager Naqchun liked B.I’s apology post. Fans think that they are get close in ‘Law of The Jungle’. Yeri and B.I appeared together in this variety show. And Yeri’s manager take care B.I a lot in airport too.

There are also supports to B.I from some YG Entertainment’s staff too. YG’s personal trainer Hwangssabuda posted red colour in Instagram. Fans also use this iKON's colour as their profile pictures to show support.

After the reports about B.I’s attempt to take drugs in 2016, he shared a post. He clarify that he wanted to rely on things that he should never be interested in while he was in distress and hardship in the past. However, he hasn’t because he was afraid and scared of it. Also, he apologized and express that he feel embarrassed to all fans and members who must have been disappointed and hurt the most. Then he said he wanted to leave the team to greatly reflect. Following his post, YG Entertainment announce termination his contract with the agency and leaving iKON.
