The reinvestigation into late actress Jang Ja Yeon's sexual abuse case is coming to an end.
On May 8, the Investigative Team of Past Affairs stated the final report for the case would be submitted to the Ministry of Justice on May 13. The final report will include information gathered by the team since the case was re-opened in April of 2018. The Team of Past Affairs formally charged a former reporter at Chosun Ilbo newspaper for sexually assaulting Jang Ja Yeon, and they also investigated the former CEO of TV Chosun Bang Jung Oh and his uncle Bang Yong Hoon, who were all on the list of sexual abusers Jang Ja Yeon left behind before she took her own life.
Jang Ja Yeon's former colleague Yoon Ji Oh, who's said to have seen the actress' written testimony, and veteran actress Lee Mi Sook, who was accused of being involved, were also interviewed. The Team of Past Affairs also stated there were multiple statements by sources other than Yoon Ji Oh who alleged Jang Ja Yeon was the victim of sexual abuse. Stay tuned for updates.

To really prosecute those high powered predators. There needs to be really solid evidence. Otherwise, her suicide letter alone will not be enough.
The Question is: Did she really commit suicide?
