GOT7's Jackson has sparked a debate on celebrities and private time.
Jackson appeared on a recent episode of Chinese talent show 'Chuang!' and opened up about growing distant from his father. He shed tears as he expressed, "I don't think I have any time to spend with my father." The emotional moment has now sparked a debate among Chinese netizens, some of who are more sympathetic than others, under the hashtag "#ShouldStarsHavePrivateTime."
On social media site Weibo, netizens commented, "You have to lose to gain something sometimes, and you can't have the best of both worlds," and "I don't make as much as a celebrity, and I don't have time to go home and see my family." Others said, "He's been chasing his dreams and hasn't had time to spend with his parents. He feels guilty. It's human nature," and "There's no denying he has the feelings of an ordinary person and cares for his parents. I hope he can spend time with his family and that people can be understanding."

Wendy hasn't gone home to Canada for 8 years also. I think it's fair to let celebrities as especially foreigners to have maybe 1 month of off per year to go back. Maybe with air tickets provided by agency return trip. It should be a part of their contract I feel. Regardless whether it's a popular groups or not.
