Actor Cho Byung Gyu apologized for his slightly inappropriate comments about his 'SKY Castle' co-star Yoon Se Ah.
Cho Byung Gyu and 'SKY Castle' cast members Kim Bo Ra, Kim Hye Yoon, SF9's Chani, Lee Ji Won, and Kim Dong Hee were guests on the January 31st episode of 'Happy Together', where they discussed filming the JTBC drama. Cho Byung Gyu said of Yoon Se Ah, who plays his mother in the hit drama, "She's too beautiful to be a mom. I'd like to play her love interest instead." He added on the plot, "She'll play a middle-aged woman who owns a house, and I'll be a young student who rents one of her rooms. The woman is unmarried, and they meet for the first time at a real estate office."
The actor has since apologized on Instagram, stating,"Hello, this is Cho Byung Gyu. This was my first variety show, and with no experience and a lot of ambition, I was careless in the way I spoke about my senior. I watched the show and realized I was inconsiderate. I reflected deeply on my thoughtlessness. I'll accept the disappointment I've caused, and I bow my head in apology. I'll learn and work hard to become a better actor in the future. Thank you. I'm sorry."
As for Yoon Se Ah, she laughed and responded in an interview, "He said that? Oh my, I should scold him. I won't play a couple with my son. Never," and added, "Ki Jun (Cho Byung Kyu's name in 'SKY Castle') will forever be my son."
Hahaha that's nothing to be ashamed of he was just joking
