Do you ever wonder what careers your favorite idols would have if they didn't commit to being an idol? It can be difficult to remember at times that K-pop idols have separate interests beyond their K-pop careers! Here are 10 idols and the careers they wanted to pursue if they didn't become idols:

Sana

TWICE Sana's dream career would have been a Kindergarten teacher if she wasn't an idol! How cute! We think Sana's personality would fit a role as a Kindergarten teacher. Other idols who also were interested in being teachers include EXO's Chen and GOT7's Jinyoung.

Taeyang

Taeyang of SF9 stated that if he wasn't an idol, he'd be a florist! Taeyang has spoken about his love of flowers before and even said his favorite was Lisianthus flowers! 

Jackson

Jackson is one of the most notable cases of an almost-career. His incredibly impressive fencing skill almost made him an Olympic-level fencer had he not gone to pursue his career with JYP.

Jungyeon

TWICE's adorable Junyeon took a break from JYP and worked in a bakery for a bit. She stated that she loved it so much that she would definitely go back to work in one if the opportunity presented itself!

Baekhyun

EXO's Baekhyun would have been a pro gamer if he wasn't an idol! Baekhyun even said that the Korean PUBG team attempted to recruit him, but he had to reject because of his idol duties.

D.O

D.O would try for a simpler career than most other idols. D.O has adamantly insisted he would want to be a farmer! His ideal lifestyle would relaxed and easy-going.

Minho

SHINee's Minho is known for his athleticism, and a career as a soccer player seems right up his alley if he weren't already deeply invested and embedded in the K-pop industry! 

Joshua

Because Joshua's mother is already in the path of oriental medicine, Joshua stated that if he wasn't an idol, he'd most likely have either followed the practice of oriental medicine or started his own business.

Moonbyul

Moonbyul of MAMAMOO would have gone for a life of fighting crime. No, not as a superhero, but as a police officer! We'd love to see her kick some serious criminal butt on the street as a concept at the very least!

T.O.P.

As a lover of all things art, T.O.P. would have made an excellent art curator for a museum. Art curation is an incredibly difficult job, but we think T.O.P. could have easily found a role given his impressive taste.
