Koo Jun Hoe already apologized on Instagram for his controversial post and comments involving Japanese comedian/film director Kitano Takeshi, but he's now followed up with an actual handwritten letter. The iKON member expressed:
"Hello, this is Koo Jun Hoe. The whole group is in the middle of a filming, but firstly, I want to hurriedly apologize. I'm very sorry for causing so much worry to the fans who support and love me when I'm lacking.
It was a piece of advice that was meant to look out for me, but I didn't sincerely acknowledge the situation. I misunderstood it as a conversation between friends, and I thought of everything lightly. I feel embarrassed of myself and humble that I didn't understand until after the fact. I'm very sorry.
I'm really regretting my rash response to the first fan who was trying to look out for me. With this situation, I'll become a more careful and mature Koo Jun Hoe.
Once again, I sincerely bow my head in apology.
Posted by Koo Jun Hoe."
