On the February 27 airing of KBS2's '1 vs 100', MC Jo Choong Hyun introduced Jung Chae Yeon by saying, "She's a good drinker that even Shin Dong Yup approves." (Shin Dong Yup is known to be one of the best celebrity drinkers).
Hearing this, Jung Chae Yeon said, "I can drink about one bottle. I'm usually the soju type but both soju and beer are good nowadays."

Her fellow member Eunchae added, "There's a reason why unnie drinks soju. She enjoys drinking it because it helps with the swelling."
Jung Chae Yeon explained, "My swelling comes down if I drink about half a bottle a day before CF filming. So I buy many [bottles of soju] and stock it up."
