In the interview, he talks about breaking the mold of doing just one thing, and wishes to grow musically and as a person by venturing out to other areas whether it's rapping, dancing, doing certain types of shows, etc.
The founder of AOMG and H1GHR Music also spoke about how he got made a relationship with Roc Nation, an American entertainment company founded by Jay-Z. "Someone at TIDAL came to our show in New York in 2016, and I guess he was expecting, like, K-Pop. But he was surprised, he saw we were doing R&B and hip-hop authentically. They were like, 'We want to work with you, we want to get you on TIDAL, let me introduce you to Roc.' It developed into a deal for label and distribution, and now my A&R at Roc Nation is going to start managing me in the States and internationally."
Lastly, Jay Park expressed his desire to keep establishing his legacy and career despite the number of successful years he already has under his belt. He hopes to release his American album before summer, as he is near the last stage of adding in all the features.
