Singer Illac appeared on the radio show as the special DJ. The first song of the day was SHINee Jonghyun's "Warm Winter". 

Illac stated, "I'm here with a heavy mind. SHINee Jonghyun, who was the DJ of 'Jonghyun's Blue Night', passed away from a sudden accident. I believe labelmates Kangta and Jonghyun have built a strong bond over many years. He is in great shock as the reason (of Jonghyun's death) is not yet accurately confirmed."

He continued, "The producers believed it would be overwhelming for Kangta to greet listeners with a heavy mind and sorrow, so he's absent today. I apologize."

Other SM artists, NCT's Jaehyun and Johnny, of SBS Power FM's 'NCT's Night Night' were also unable to go on air on the 11 pm live broadcast. Girls' Generation's Taeyeon also canceled her fansign event scheduled on the 19th.
