An anonymous poster on a community board asked which song should be considered the song of the year and gave their own opinion. The original post reads, "Personally, I think it's WINNER's 'Really Really'. It came out in the beginning of April and the fact that it's still up on the chart after 5 months is really interesting and doesn't get boring."

After the post was made, there were hundreds of comments and netizens and fans alike started to share their opinion of which song was the best so far in 2017.

One netizen wrote, "I agree, I think it'll be a little disappointing if 'Really Really' doesn't get any awards this year. Personally, I enjoyed TWICE's 'Knock Knock' and Red Velvet's 'Red Flavor'". 

Other netizens wrote, "'Really Really' should get an award this year", "For female solo, it should be Ailee's 'I Will Go To You Like The First Snow' and IU's 'Through the Night'. For male solo, Yoon Jong Shin's 'Like It' and Hwang Chi Yeol's 'A Daily Song'. For girl groups, it should be TWICE's 'Knock Knock', Red Velvet's 'Red Flavor', and Black Pink's 'As If It's Your Last'. For boy group, there are so many choices right now but I think WINNER's 'Really Really' and BTS' 'Spring Day'", "I'm an ARMY but honestly speaking, I think WINNER's 'Really Really' or IU's 'Palette' and 'Through the Night' should take it", and much more.

It appears many netizens think WINNER's "Really Really" is the song of the year so far.
