During one of their drives together, Lee Hyori opened up her heart to IU. She said, "I used to be the main character wherever I went, but when we were with Dongsoo (one of the guests), I could feel that his focus was all on you. Even though he does say he is a fan of mine, this is becoming your era now and little by little, I'm starting to realize how times have changed." 

She continued, "However, as I started to get closer to you and adore you more while experiencing these changes, it feels really natural and I've become really happy for you like when a mother watches her daughter. I become content when I see people showing you love and start to realize what role I'm playing - that I'm able to take a step back for and behind juniors. I think I've been able to practice and accept that very naturally through you... Maybe God sent you to me, to practice that...Thank you."

Fans would say Lee Hyori's time isn't over yet!
