In light of this, a new theory video was created by Dream Teller, breaking down the theories in the music video segment by segment. As seen from the music video, it contains various hidden symbols and messages. Let's take a closer look, shall we?
Like the name, each KARD member represents a card from the deck: B.M as King (Blue).
J.Seph as Ace (Red).
Somin as Black Joker (Black), and Jiwoo as Color Joker (Multicolor).
Dream Teller added, "It seems they are in some kind of duel?"
Dream Teller points out some key sequences:
The Beginning of Tragedy represented by a chandelier foreshadowing an event to come.
Throne clearly presented by the crystal chess board and pieces meaning conflict. Since B.M represents the King, he moves the King chess piece and sits in the middle of KARD. But J.Seph as an Ace counters by moving the knight piece and sits by himself in one of the MV scenes, J.Seph wants to come for B.M's king position.
Chess/Dice illustrating the battlefield, B.M wants to avoid conflict but J.Seph wants an exchange like two Chess grandmasters duking it out.
Fire and Water: J.Seph representing fire and B.M symbolizing water. These two opposite elements in conflict.
Envy: Depicts Jiwoo's colorful aspect and Somin's chic black aura, but Dream Teller flips it around as the two girls are a reflection of themselves, duality.
Clock/Mirror/Chandelier: presents the emotional state of each member with the shattering mirror. B.M wishes to turn back the hands of time.
Harmony (Unity). "Oh NaNa" features the end result of coming together while "Don't Recall" entails conflict.
Hidden/ One More Thing: Dream Teller mentions a possible 5th "hidden" member that you can't see. You heard whispers of "K" and "A", will "R" and "D" be next?
What are your thoughts on this detailed analysis and anyone else have this song on repeat?
