Idols with the best chance at success in America

misc.
We love our K-Pop idols doing their best in Korea, but many international fans are begging their idols to come overseas and make it big in America! While for some groups it isn't easy, and lord knows many have tried, there are some idols who seem like they'd have more of a shot than others!

Check out the list of idols who might have what it takes to make it in America! Maybe 2017 will be their year?

GOT7 Jackson

Jackson offers a lot more than you'd think. While maintaining a great personality, Jackson can speak English quite fluently and has a lot of other languages under his belt. I'd hate to compare him to Justin Beiber, but he can easily become America's next sweetheart due to his charisma. With so many international fans flocking under his wing, he can easily soar above the rest.

CL

Despite CL trying to make it big in the U.S. since 2014 and not quite hitting success yet, she still has what it takes to dominate the game. She has been in the spotlight for quite some time, has worked and met with countless American producers and talent, and has proven on more than one occasion she is serious about her work. Now that 2NE1 disbanded, she may have the time necessary to further her solo career.

Big Bang Taeyang

Where to even begin -  Taeyang found huge success in Big Bang and, once he went solo with "Eyes, Nose Lips," the rest was history. He has a real Usher-fused-with-Chris-Brown style that, along with his hot body, will have girls swooning in no time. Taeyang can easily dominate the stage with his strong dancing skills, vocal abilities, and overall energetic stage presence.

f(x) Amber

Amber is not another clueless idol when it comes to American culture and appeal. Spending lots of time in the states, Amber has an authentic personality that would help brand her nicely in America. Amber also has a tomboyish style that has seen success in America with singers such as Robyn or Pink. She has proven she has a tender singing voice and upbeat rap style that allow her to be flexible in her approach in the American music scene.

Eric Nam

Eric Nam is another English-speaking star who has a great advantage with American audiences. Having some experience in the U.S. previously, Eric has a friendly charm and rich voice that gravitate people towards him. His jack-swing-influenced hits would accommodate American listeners' needs easily and effortlessly. He also has a great personality for late-night television.

Girls' Generation Taeyeon

Girls Generation has few possible candidates but Taeyeon has the voice and image to win over the hearts of America. How? Not only does she have the visuals of a classic K-Pop star, which would be intriguing to others, but she also has great vocal range and pitch. Her voice is quite recognizable and is distinct which goes hand-in-hand with America's music scene. Individuality goes far in America, and no one has a voice like Taeyeon.

BTS Rap Monster

Rap Monster is a man with a lot of charisma. Not only is he well liked internationally but also he has the rap skills and a deep, attention-grabbing voice that would throw American audiences off guard. Let us not forget he had a real eye-opening experience on 'American Hustle Life' that helped him get it together as a rapper.

Wassup Nada

Nada is daring, edgy, and not afraid to take on a challenge and strut her stuff on stage. Already being different from the average K-Pop idol, Nada has a wicked tongue in her rap game as well as a sexy body to match. She emphasizes her curvy figure, tanned skin, sex appeal and overall bad girl attitude. Plus, we cannot forget her killer performances and experience on 'Unpretty Rapstar.'

SHINee Taemin

SHINee's Taemin draws heavy influence from Michael Jackson's signature flair. From the dance moves to the eccentric fashion, Taemin would definitely wow the crowd, and his vocal prowess would bring in even more of positive spotlight. He has gone solo before and would definitely be able to do it again in America. Hopefully he doesn't get branded as an Adam Lambert carbon copy.

Block B Zico

Zico has a lot of style - enough that I could deem him a G-Dragon in the making. Lately, he has been the rapper on everyone's mind, and he really owns his craft of being an entertainer. Americans like the glitz and glamour of the stage, and Zico is no joke when it comes to showing off his zany side. Paired with his sometimes sweet yet often dope rap lyrics, Zico can be more than a flash in the pan. Style alone won't bring him to the top, but his unique sense isn't something easily overlooked.

B.A.P Bang Yong Guk

Bang Yong Guk isn't some run-of-the-mill rapper. His dedication to rap history and understanding rap's origins help him craft some excellent music. But knowledge isn't the only thing he has - paired with his dedication, Bang Yong Guk, with the right producer, could compose some wonderful songs all on his own. Since he is B.A.P's leader, he also has a sense of direction and responsibility that will prevent him from getting lost in the dust like previous idols after coming to America.
