We finally get to see Hongbin take the reins for the first time as he steps forward as Hyuk's partner for VIXX, while MONSTA X's Minhyuk and Kihyun decide to participate in this round, with I.M. sitting out. 

Even though Hongbin chooses Tracer over Hanzo, his favorite player, he manages to gain the upper hand against Minhyuk and Kihyun quickly, much to Hyuk's satisfaction. But once Minhyuk succeeds in killing Tracer, Hongbin is ready for action with Hanzo! The archer's precision surprised Minhyuk so much, that he cried out during the game, "Hanzo is super good!" 

VIXX took home round 1, while MONSTA began to see how futile the match up might turn out with the veteran Hongbin on the opposing team. The two groups still pressed on toward round 2, where Kihyun switched out with maknae I.M. on a new map. Before the game started, I.M. tried to thwart Hyuk's focus by giving him a very spicy hot bar, but did it work? 

Nope... by the end of the episode, MONSTA X fell over face first in both rounds against the unbeatable duo, Hongbin and Hyuk. Next week, MONSTA X will have to redeem themselves in a 2 on 1 match against Hongbin, who seems like he still has a lot of tricks up his sleeves!
