The recent broadcast of 'Taxi' featured 'Reply 1988's stars Ryu Joon Yeol and Lee Dong Hwi! The two shared a few behind-the-scenes stories including how their audition process went.
Ryu Joon Yeol especially stole viewers' hearts with his role as Junghwan in the drama, but Junghwan wasn't the character he first had in mind. The actor revealed, "I went to audition for many roles. I read the lines for every character besides Duksun (Hyeri's character). At first, I went in thinking I would audition for Dongryong (Lee Dong Hwi's character). I prepared a song and dance."
He added, "At the end of the audition, I was talking (with the director Shin Won Ho), and I told him I could play baduk. I asked him, "Should I play Taek?" He thought about it for a while and he gave me the role of Junghwan."
