KBS's 'News9' reported Wednesday that one daycare center in Gyeongju City was abusing children.

According to CCTV footage installed at the daycare center, a teacher forced one two-year-old child to watch other children eat for over 20 minutes after confiscating the child's utensils. Further, the teacher was seen strangling another child's body using her legs, and then lifting the child suddenly into the air.

A parent of a victimized child said, "[My child] developed the strange behavior of hiding when eating food and didn't want to go to the daycare, saying the teacher was scary." 

After reviewing the CCTV footage, the parents claimed that they have witnessed the teacher's abusive acts toward 8 children over the course of a month. 

Police investigation revealed that the teacher explained she had "disciplined the kids to set their bad attitudes and eating habits straight." 

The police are currently investigating this case by analyzing more of the daycare's CCTV footage after receiving additional reports of child abuse from the children's parents.
