Sergeant Ha Jae Hun, who lost his legs to North Korean mines back in August, was reported to finally have been discharged from the hospital on December 29! What great news for him and his family, right on time for the New Year!
According to a report by Yonhap News, during the discharge ceremony held by the Armed Forces' Medical Command, Ha relayed his sentiments on finally leaving the hospital after his treatments. He said, "Thanks to all the citizens who supported me I think I was able to stay courageous and keep on smiling."

Sergeant Ha had been receiving rehabilitation for the past several months, replacing his lost legs with prosthetic ones to help him walk again. He has also revealed his wishes to work in administrative services at ROK army hospital's.
