Previously, MBC announced that they had two choices regarding Jung Hyung Don's broadcasting hiatus from 'Weekly Idol': they could replace him altogether with a new fixed MC, or they could temporarily substitute with guest MCs.

According to MBC Everyone on November 23, they have decided that idols would be taking turns replacing Jung Hyung Don's spot on the show!  The first person to appear will be INFINITE's Sunggyu, which comes as no surprise considering the great chemistry he always had with the two MCs whenever he came on the show.

For the Christmas special that will be filmed early next month, Super Junior's Heechul will come on.  The production crew stated, "While wishing for the quick recovery of Jung Hyung Don, we will do our best so that the viewers who have loved us all this time will not be disappointed."

Sunggyu's portion will air on December 2.
