He was at 'The Midici 2015' to talk about his acting career, including his recent roles as the psychopath Ryu Tae Oh in 'Gapdong' and as Han In Sang in 'Heard It Through the Grapevine'.
As for Hang In Sang, he said, "Unlike Han In Sang's parents in the drama, my parents are warm and like friends. So I thought of Yoo Joon Sang sunbaenim not as a father but as a sunbae. I imagined the scary sunbaes from high school, and I automatically found myself avoiding Yoo Joon Sang sunbaenim's eyes."

For Ryu Tae Oh, he explained, "As for acting like a psychopath, I couldn't even begin to imagine it myself, so I built my character watching YouTube videos. To be honest, I suck at even killing mosquitos."
When asked if he thought he got lucky as an actor, he talked about 'Ninja Assassin' and said, "It doesn't make sense that a 20-year-old who doesn't know anything can film a Hollywood movie. It's not that I worked harder than other people back then, but it was because I looked like Rain that I featured in that, so I think that was more luck than ability. After that, now I'm working hard to become a person who has talent."
On his future plans, he said, "I want to become an actor that pours sincerity into anything no matter what."
