SHINee's Key talked about playing a married man in the musical 'Chess'.
At the press conference for the musical on June 23, Key was asked about the difficulties of his role. Key answered, "I knew that SHINee promotions would overlap with the musical. It was a screenplay that made me think that it was a character I haven't been able to try thus far. That's why I did it, but that's also what was most difficult about it."
He went on, "It was my first time playing a married man. It's a character that's been hurt a lot... It was difficult because I had to hold back with my acting, but still show how he acts out."
'Chess' also stars 2AM's Jo Kwon, B1A4's CNU, VIXX' Ken, Shin Sung Woo, and Lee Gun Myung.
