Doesn't this pull at your heartstrings?
In an interview with China's Sohu released on April 21, Lay spoke about his new workshops in China, SM Entertainment, EXO, and the group's former members.
About SM Entertainment's first established solo workshop under his name, Lay revealed that SM had proposed the idea to him first. He also said, "There was trust. Since there was trust I thought that this was possible. I am very fortunate [for the first workshop under SM]. I'm thankful for everything."
Lay said, "What happened in the past [Kris and Luhan's leave] must have had a lot of impact on the company. Everything I choose and decide now will also of course impact the company." He also added, "I think the company as well as the individuals are experiencing a process of growth, changes, and challenges."
When asked about how EXO are doing after the leave of the two members, Lay replied, "The members are very strong. Right now the members are holding each other's hands and walking forth together. I can't say that [Kris and Luhan's leave] had no impact on the group. There is an impact. But I want to say this. Everyone is good. As long as everyone is good, it's fine."
The idol was also asked if he personally keeps in touch with the former members.
He said, "I do. I met up with Luhan a little while ago and we ate a meal together. These days, we're so busy we can't meet up with each other."
