Ever wonder which celebrities are the most popular in Korea? Survey firm 'Gallup Korea' has conducted a poll on Korea's favorite celebrities in 2014 to satisfy your curiosity.
'Gallup Korea' surveyed 1,700 Korean men and women over the age of 13 in October 2014 and have now released the results. They also compared the data from this survey to that of a similar poll they took in 2004 to see how Korea's favorite celebrities have changed in a decade. Figure skater Kim Yuna proves that she still is the Nation's favorite by taking 19% of the surveyer votes. Football/soccer player Park Ji Sung takes second place with 16% and L.A. Dodgers pitcher Ryu Hyun Jin takes third with 10%.
The votes were a lot more spread out for the TV actors. 'You Who Came from the Stars' Hallyu star Kim Soo Hyun nudged Choi Bool Am out of first place with 4.3%, while the latter received 4.2% of the votes. After his great performance in 'It's Okay, That's Love' of a writer who is afflicted with schizophrenia, Jo In Sung took third with 3.3%.
Yoo Jae Suk completely dominates with 23% of the votes, which comes as no surprise. There's a huge gap between the 'Nation's MC' and the second favorite comedian Kim Joon Ho, who lands 9% of the votes. Third is the ever cheerful Kang Ho Dong at 6%.

Cho Yong Pil took first place with 7.2% of the votes, showing that the nation continues to love the legendary singer. Second went to Lee Sun Hee at 4.4% and third went to Jang Yoon Jung at 3.9%. Noticeably only three idols made the top 10.
