Following YG Entertainment's latest 'Who's Next?' teaser, revealing that there will be two upcoming hip hop projects, media outlets are speculating that the artists involved may be GD&TOP returning as a unit or for solo promotions based on statements made by reps in the music industry.
On November 14, industry reps claimed that the singers in YG were preparing for a new album, although it was uncertain whether this would be a new single or full-length album. The YG artists deemed most likely for promotions are GD&TOP, mainly because it was reported that they recently set a schedule to take part in a filming of KBS 2TV's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'!
One rep predicted cautiously, "Doesn't it suggest GD&TOP are making their comeback since they're appearing on 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' rather than an end-of-the-year music awards or special broadcast?"

This would make it four years since the last time the two Big Bang members promoted together officially in South Korea. However, today, the music distributors remarked, "I cannot confirm the singers' album release schedule beforehand without the consent of their agency. There is a large possibility it could be a person's solo album rather than a unit with two people, G-Dragon and T.O.P. I think the other person is a supporter," suggesting maybe T.O.P or G-Dragon may be solo with the other unit member featuring in the album.
Meanwhile, other media sources and fans alike have raised the possibility of G-Dragon pairing up with Taeyang. Looks like fans will just need to wait longer for confirmation from YG Entertainment, but either way, the future looks exciting!
