On the October 9 installment of Mnet's 'MIX & MATCH,' the three teams matched with a YG artist or trainee for collaboration stages before the judges.
Bobby's team matched with trainee Jang Han Nah to cover Black Eyed Peas' "Let's Get It Started." The boys' vocals matched well with Jang Han Nah's very smooth, clear, and powerful vocals to the point they received compliments from the judges, particularly Bobby.
San E said, "Bobby stands out so much. It feels like Bobby has five years of stage experience. It's scary how well you do. I had to watch the other members, too, but my attention really did not go to the confirmed members."
Simon D said, "I think Bobby could even work less diligently. Be gentle. You're overflowing with ease and you enjoy the stage well." He pointed out, however, that the other members were a bit stiff and not attention-grabbing.
Kim Jin Hwan's team performed Bruno Mars' "Treasure" with Akdong Musician's Soo Hyun, also garnering compliments and constructive criticism.
San E stated, "You did well on your own when the music started. However, it would have been good if you had focused on the vocals," giving them 90 points. Tablo said, "It was extremely refreshing and put me in a good mood. It made me think a lot about my younger days. It reminded me once again of the excitement I felt when meeting a lover," but gave 80 points.
Simon D said, "I'm a man, yet the stage was exciting to me. Jin Hwan's voice was nice and everyone did well," giving 90 points. Gray said, "Jin Hyung's acting with expressions was a bit lacking while Jin Hwan stood out," giving 82 points.
Yang Hyun Suk said, "First of all, Jin Hwan's singing, dancing, and expressions were natural.. Today's stage was not exceptionally amazing or bad, but it was a stage that met expectations," giving 80 points.
