A and B first met at a church back in April 2010. She married him 6 months after meeting him after A had just returned from doing missionary work in Japan, and found B to be deeply religious. After being married, A eventually found out about B's secret addiction to porn and she was greatly disappointed. B wouldn't fix his habit, and the two began to quarrel to the extent that they sought help from a counseling program held by their missionary group. In the end, the situation worsened, and A filed for divorce.
In March 2014, while the lawsuit was in progress, a sex tape featuring A and B began to circulate around the internet. A accused B of uploading the video, but because the investigative agency did not have enough evidence, it was dismissed. A protested against this decision and even made an appeal to have it reversed.
Judge Jung has recently ruled that the couple should get divorced explaining, "The fact that Mr. B posed as a devout, religious person yet watched adult videos excessively, and that there is even a sex tape circulating, adding to the couple's quarreling, the relationship between husband and wife has become broken to the point that it will be difficult for them to recover." The judge concluded, "In the name of the civil law, [I will order] a judicial separation, [complying with] the plaintiff's request for a divorce."
