Actress Hwang Jung Eum, who recently starred in the SBS drama 'Incarnation of Money', opened up about her days as part of the girl group Sugar, her 7-year relationship with boyfriend Kim Yong Joon, and how being in her thirties is awesome in an interview.
When asked how it feels to turn 30, Hwang Jung Eun shared, "I'm feeling good. Because my hard work until now paid off, I feel accomplished. My labor wasn't in vain. I still have a long way to go, but all I need to do is keep running forward."
"While I was promoting as a member of the group Sugar during my twenties, I felt a lot of regret. I grew up thinking I was the best, but Sugar didn't work out and I entered a college that was lower in ranking then those of my friends. But if it wasn't for that experience, I wouldn't have become the person I am today. I think I understand now the saying that you should suffer when you're young."
"I struggled throughout the last ten years. My achievements are the result of overcoming those hardships and being criticized. Although I suffered a lot during my twenties, I feel good thinking that I will live more comfortably and happily during my thirties."
"I love having conversations with my friends. I didn't know how to relieve my stress back then, but now I figured it out."
When asked how her 7-year relationship with her boyfriend, SG Wannabe's Kim Yong Joon, is going, she revealed, "When I'm done with work, I meet up with him. He has been working out a lot these days, so he lost a lot of weight and is living an upright lifestyle."
