Actor Ahn Jae Wook who underwent surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage while visiting the U.S. earlier this month will soon be released from the ICU with the possibility of soon returning to Korea.
His agency revealed on the 26th, "Although it was a major surgery, it ended up being successful, and the CT and MRI results came out good. The current plan is for him to be released from the intensive care unit soon. According to the results from the local medical center and Korean medical center, it is too early to determine if he could return to Korea yet. After being released, we have to watch over him for about a week to ten days on his recovery, and afterwards we will decide whether he is able to board an airplane. If there's nothing wrong, he is planned to return back to Korea. Because the results of the surgery are good, he will be discharged from the hospital. But after his release, it is essential that he gets full rest so he can return to a healthy state."
Ahn Jae Woo assured his fans by stating, "I sincerely thank all of the fans and representatives who worried and waited for me."
Ahn Jae Wook shocked fans by revealing he was diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage during his trip to Las Vegas and immediately received a 5 hour long surgery on the morning of February 4th and is currently resting in the intensive care unit. Fortunately, the surgery went well and he has no problems communicating and moving.
