Rookie group Brit will be taking their first steps in the world of K-pop as the first new group to kick off the new year with their debut single "Goodbye Yesterday'.
The new vocal boy group is produced by well-known composer Cho Young Soo, who has written many hits for vocal groups as well as idols. The group has been compared to vocal groups like SG Wannabe, V.O.S, and 2BiC, as well as having rapping abilities similar to hip hop teams Supreme Team and Dynamic Duo.
"Goodbye Yesterday" has been revealed to take advantage of these skills, written by Cho Young Soo and Ahn Young Min, and combining a hip hop rhythm while bringing out an R&B vibe to the song. The single describes the things a man is sadly saying to a lover who has left him.
Brit stands for "Brothers In this Time" and wishes to send messages that people of this generation can agree with and empathize with. The team has strong vocal abilities as well as a youthful and free hip hop spirit, giving the rookie group a strong start for their debut early this new year.
