As suspected,�KARA's Jiyoung has indeed dropped out of�'IRIS 2'. Her leave was confirmed today by both the drama production company as well as DSP Media, and it's been revealed that a�T-ara member may be taking her place!

Although Jiyoung was previously cast as the NSS guard team member Song Chae Ran, she was unfortunately unable to fulfill the time necessary to carry out her role due to her busy overseas schedule.

A representative revealed, "It is true that Jiyoung has left the show. She was overwhelmed with her conflicting Japan schedule and ultimately decided to leave the cast. It is predicted that a T-ara member will replace Jiyoung's role. Although there were rumors floating around that Soyeon was cast, there is a greater probability that it will be a member other than Soyeon. This role is currently in discussion."

In addition, Soyeon's reps have also denied the previous rumors about being considered for the role, stating, "Soyeon has not been in talks regarding this drama."
