On the September 17th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Star Life Theater', Psy opened up about his concept and identity as an artist.

Psy revealed the secret to his success, stating, "While I was promoting 'Bird', I presented myself as a unique celebrity who does not look like a typical celebrity; I thought to myself that this was my identity and that I should continue to use this concept."

He continued, "If my concert has 10,000 attendees, then including me, [the number] amounts to 10,001 attendees. When all the 10,000 people jump together, their facial expressions are priceless. I dance to see their faces light up, and when I look out at the audience, they are all happy. I work hard to see those expressions," revealing the reason behind his strong work ethic.
