This particular featured idol doesn't have the best body nor the best aesthetics, nor is he the lead singer of ZE:A. However, he is one of the few idols who have stood out in variety shows time and time again because of his unfiltered personality. ZE:A's Kwanghee carries an amazing ability to turn around a negative trait with a positive. And rather than on stage, his charms and talent shines the most particularly when he takes part in variety shows earning him the title 'variety-idol'.�Following the original variety idol, Jo Kwon, Kwanghee has been dominating the variety field, blurting out stories of his members left and right in his unique high-tone voice, with attitude.

However, the optimistic and confident idol did not have an easy start in the career as he was first widely known as the idol who was rather loud, obnoxious. On top of that he had prematurely admitted that he had "re-built" his whole face on various variety shows. Many people and even celebrities would know him as 'plastic surgery-idol' before knowing who he really was. And because of his strong personality on variety shows, when it was time to perform on stage as ZE:A, Kwanghee once told that people would laugh at him rather than taking him seriously. His out of the ordinary and eccentric personality was an easy-target for antis and hater comments.

As time went on, people took more interest in Kwanghee as an entertainer because of his oddly addicting yet articulate way of speaking his mind and his ability to be snarky without looking unfavorable. He stood tall amongst top idol guests as he became a permanent member of various variety shows. And because of him, the once unnoticed group, ZE:A, was able to gain more attention to their members.

Still, Kwanghee has a rather cocky style of talking and sometimes may come off as "rude" to the viewers. However, he has managed to turn the cockiness into confidence leaning the audience to a more positive review. Since the beginning, Kwanghee wasn't afraid to show and tell like it is. And we hope to see more of Kwanghee telling things the way it should be told, and definitely with attitude.
