Korean group 2NE1 recently announced on their official Japanese site that they will be releasing their new Japanese single on September 12th. The single was scheduled to be released earlier but was pushed back.

The song is currently untitled but member Park Bom was in Tokyo last month attending the 'Maybelline New York' event. It was announced at the time that the group will be providing the theme song to the 'Volume Express Magnum Cat Eyes Waterproof Maschera' in Japan. The commercial will being airing in August.

The website said that this new single of their is a "very strong single", and it will include the Japanese version of "I LOVE YOU" as one of the tracks. The new single will come in two versions with the limited edition containing a DVD with the title track music video and making-of. The girls will also appear on Fuji TV's summer event "Mezamashi Live" on August 3rd.

No other information has been released. For now, check out their Japanese version of their latest song "I Love You".
