Earlier, it was reported that Entertainer Lee Soo Geun's wife Park Ji Yeon received a kidney transplant last November thanks to her father, and is currently spending time in recovery.
An official representative informed Star News recently that"She received the transplant last year, and still continues to receive treatment regularly. We are closely watching her progression."
Lee Soo Geun revealed that his wife was ill on a television program last year. His wife is suffering fromgestational hypertension orpregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), and has been undergoing dialysis.
Lee Soo Geun's representatives remarked, "Thank you to everyone who has shown their support and offered their encouragements. We hope for a quick and permanent recovery."
The MC will be talking about his wife's surgery on the 100th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Win Win'. The episode will air on January 31st.
