On December 13th, Japanese record label Tokuma Japan announced that they will be debuting CHI-CHI in April 2012. Their debut single is scheduled to hit shelves on April 25th, but prior to that, the girls will perform at Shibuya's Tower Records store on January 26th. They'll also be participating in other special events, such as a handshake session that allows them to personally greet their fans. Additionally, Tokuma Japan said that they'll be hosting a 'Shibuya CHI-CHI Festival' every month up to their debut. CHI-CHI debuted in Korea as a seven member girl group back in March, but two members recently announced their departure. The group is now comprised of five members: Su-i, Aji, Semi, Boreum, and Shine. Source + Photos: YNA via Naver
